Duckweed as Alternative Protein Source Interview
September 2, 2015
I was recently interviewed by Peter Parker of Perendale Publishers of England for their Milling and Grain Magazine. The e-version just came out, with the printed version to follow. It turned out very good. Nice job and thank you, Peter!

Very interesting article about your company. For the drying process, have you tried possibly using an old dryer and putting the duckweed in a microfiber mesh sack?

Thanks, Eva. Been there, done that. It works. Just be sure to run your drier outdoors and to REALLY deep clean the internal sections of said drier on a batch basis. Built-up dried duckweed can easily catch on fire and is a real fire hazard. In other words- don’t do it. 🙂
