ILA site is now up and running
Still a work in progress, but at last the ILA, otherwise known as the International Lemna Association has a place to hang our hat! Am working out the Paypal details but should have that ironed out in a day or so. Our next Round Table meeting is this coming Friday at noon Eastern and is open to all paid members. Our “Meet and Greet” conference calls for those new to duckweed production will resume in December on the third Thursday of the month at Noon Eastern as well. This meeting is open to the general public. We’ve got some great webinars lined up starting in December. Learn how to bioprospect for duckweed in your region, how to incorporate social media into your duckweed business marketing, and how to write better grants in an increasingly difficult funding era.
Please visit the site and let me know what you think. Would love to hear ideas on how to make it better. Go here. If you’d like to volunteer your skills as they relate to the website or the ILA, please let me know.
Many thanks to Hamdi Shaar for his research on pertinent videos and resource links. He has been a staunch ILA member and co-developer of the site. Hamdi, couldn’t have done it without you!
I have a lot of experience with web development, WordPress and other content management systems as well as website hosting. If I can be of assistance in any of those areas in regard to the ILA website, please let me know. I’m also very good with photography, digital imaging and related skills.

Is the site built with WordPress? If so, there are plugins that make SEO relatively easy. I’ll send you an email.
